Aberdeen hogmanay 2007

This was our first year attending the street party.....and never again

Yes we were expecting there to be crowds, the atmosphere was excellent but i think that aberdeen council got it wrong on a couple of points

1. it was stated that there was elevated seating available for the disabled, well i was disgusted to see approx 6 folding chairs on the steps of the court
Could they not have spent a little more on facilities for the infirm instead of spending money on the Scotland flags they dished out free of charge.

2. The toliet facilities were a disgrace 12 portable toilets for the whole crowd!!!
My Husband ended up wetting himself as he had 1 hour to wait in a Q for the loo.

Aberdeen city council need to take these points on board and try to rectify this problem 4 next years celebrations
