The weather has hit the Edinburgh's Dogmanay due to start at 1.30pm at Holyrood Park. On show were going to be Alaskan Malmute, Samoyed and Siberian Huskies.

Aberdeen and Edinburgh decided to continue with their Hogmanay Celebrations despite adverse weather conditions as have the Highland celebrations at Stonehaven, Loch Ness, Dornoch,Thurso, Granton on Spey and others.
